A forest fire erupted Friday evening in the woods of Bashoura village in northern Lattakia countryside, prompting the mobilization of firefighting and civil defense teams in the area.
According to SANA’s correspondent in Lattakia, Syrian civil defense firefighting units rushed to the site and began suppression operations using available vehicles and equipment, aiming to contain the flames and prevent their spread to populated areas or nearby agricultural lands.
