Syria, Qatar to enhance investment cooperation in energy sector

Minister of energy, Mohammad al-Bashir, met on Monday with Qatar’s Minister of State for Energy Affairs, Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, in the United Arab Emirates as part of Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC 2025)

The two Ministers discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation across various energy sectors, a well as enhancing strategic partnership and investment opportunities between the two states.

They emphasized the importance of fostering a conducive investment environment, implementing projects that utilize offshore oil reserves and enhancing production capacities to serve the interests of both nations.

Syria is participating in the ADIPEC 2025, which kicked off Monday to 6th November in Abu Dhabi under the theme” Energy. Intelligence. Impact”.

ADIPEC brings together global leaders to address a dual imperative – building resilience in today’s systems and scaling intelligent solutions to accelerate inclusive global progress.
