Minister of Interior Anas Khattab met on Saturday with a delegation representing Palmyra city community ,as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen communication between the Ministry and the local communities.
The meeting, held at the ministry’s headquarters in Damascus, was attended by senior officials of the Interior Ministry, according to a statement published on the Ministry of Interior’s Telegram channel.
The meeting focused on ways to enhance security and stability, protect civilians in the region, and improve services to ensure the safety of citizens as well as the return of normal life in Palmyra and its surroundings, given the area’s geographical and historical significance
Talks also referred to supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation between official institutions and the local community in ensuring security and stability.
