Information Minister presents Syria’s media vision at “TRT World 2025” Forum

Minister of Information Hamza al-Mustafa took part, Friday, in a panel discussion titled “Syria’s New Dawn: Charting the Path of Reconstruction,” held as part of the “TRT World Forum 2025” in Istanbul.

The session was attended by a distinguished group of political, media, and academic figures from around the world.

During his presentation of Syria’s media vision for the post-liberation phase, Minister al-Mustafa underlined that national media will play a central role in rebuilding the Syrian individual and shaping national consciousness. He also highlighted its contribution to supporting the comprehensive reconstruction process, both materially and morally.

The minister noted that Syria is entering a new phase of recovery after years of war and blockade, marked by openness and national integration. He pointed out that the Syrian government is working to rebuild institutions and modernize media discourse to align with current transformations and strengthen citizens’ trust in their homeland and future.

Minister al-Mustafa also addressed the importance of regional and international cooperation in supporting joint development and media projects. He stressed that the reconstruction phase is not merely about rebuilding infrastructure, but rather about renewing the Syrian national identity that has endured and resisted in the face of challenges.
