“Rebuilding Taftanaz ” campaign raises more than $2.7 million

“Rebuilding Taftanaz ” campaign raised more than $2.7 million to support development projects in Idlib countryside.

The “Rebuilding Taftanaz ” fund -raising initiative kicked off, Friday evening, in Teftanaz city, located in the Idleb countryside.

The event took place at al-Omar Stadium, drawing broad participation from local residents, officials, media figures, and community leaders. The initiative aims to rehabilitate infrastructure and improve public services that were damaged due to the assaults of the former regime.

The initiative’s goal is to revive the city, and give back to its residents who have endured and sacrificed greatly over the past years, campaign director Bashir al-Omar told SANA.

Al-Omar added that the campaign’s first phase will focus on rehabilitating schools and improving educational facilities. It will also include other service-oriented projects such as road repairs, infrastructure upgrades, and beautification efforts across the city.

For his part, the campaign’s media coordinator Adham Dasharni emphasized the importance of launching development projects that will bring tangible improvements to the city’s infrastructure and be felt directly by its citizens.

Member of Parliament Mazen Ghazal, affirmed that just as Teftanaz had been a pioneer in the fields of revolution and resistance, it will now lead in reconstruction, development, and the enhancement of services for its people.

Organizers of the “Rebuilding Taftanaz” fund-raising initiative hope it will help alleviate the suffering of residents, foster a spirit of collective action, and restore hope among families who have long endured destruction, bombardment, and repeated targeting by the former regime.
