Interior Minister Anas Khattab affirmed on Friday the Ministry’s keenness to thwart any attempt by remnants of the deposed regime to destabilize the region’s security and stability.
Minister Khattab announced in a post on X the arrest of criminal Numeir al-Assad and his terrorist gang, as well as the criminal Qusay Wajih Ibrahim, and the uncovering of their crimes, dealing a new blow to the attempts by remnants of the deposed regime to sow discord among the Syrian people in the coastal region. “The nation’s security is a red line,” the minister said.
Regarding the murder of young man “Mowaffaq Haroun” in Damascus countryside, the Minister pointed out that the Internal Security Command in the governorate arrested the murderers and investigations are under way to uncover the circumstances of the crime.
