Polling centers opened at nine a.m. on Sunday for members of the electoral colleges to begin voting in the first Syrian parliamentary elections after the liberation.
Members of the electoral colleges will select representatives from 1578 candidates for Syria’s new People’s Assembly, in an important step in the country’s rebuilding process.
