Syria’s Higher Committee for People’s Assembly Elections has released the final lists of electoral body members, spokesperson Nawar Najmeh announced Friday.
“These lists are final, and all their members have the right to both run for seats in the People’s Assembly and vote in the upcoming election,” Najmeh said in a written statement to SANA on Friday.
The committee has set October 5 as the official date for parliamentary elections across Syria.
