Under the directives of Defense Minister Major General Murhaf Abu Qasra, helicopters of the Syrian Arab Army Air Force are taking part in firefighting operations to extinguish forest wildfires in Lattakia countryside.
This comes as part of ongoing efforts to contain the fires and limit their spread in order to protect lives, property, and forest cover.
