Israeli Forces Shell Abandoned Site, Carry Out Incursions in Quneitra Countryside

Quneitra – SANA Israeli occupation forces renewed their aggressions Tuesday in the countryside of Quneitra, shelling an abandoned post east of Breiqa town and carrying out incursions in the areas of Tal Kroum and the village of al-Asbah, where they set up a checkpoint and searched several homes.

According to SANA’s correspondent, five shells targeted the abandoned al-Tawahine post east of Breiqa in southern Quneitra. A patrol of two Israeli vehicles also advanced into the Tal Kroum area in central Quneitra amid heightened alert along the disengagement line, while explosions were heard in the occupied Golan due to Israeli military exercises.

Later in the day, a convoy of 16 Israeli vehicles crossed from the occupied Golan through the al-Asha gate and advanced into al-Asbah village, where troops erected a checkpoint, searched homes, and deployed surveillance drones over the area.

Israel continues its violations inside Syrian territory in breach of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement and international law. Syria has condemned these repeated aggressions, stressing that they obstruct stability efforts and constitute a blatant violation of sovereignty, calling on the international community to take firm action to stop them.
