Syrian Delegation Visits Turkey to Review Digital Transformation Experiences

Damascus, SANA- An official delegation from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology visited a number of Turkish institutions specialized in digital transformation, cybersecurity, and postal services, as part of efforts to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise between the two countries.

Syrian Delegation Visits Turkey to Review Digital Transformation Experiences

The delegation visited the Turkish e-Government headquarters (e-Devlet), Turksat company, the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), the Turkish National Data Center, the Turkish Postal Service (PTT), and the National Information Technologies Authority (BTK).

The delegation reviewed the latest experiences in the fields of digital transformation, cybersecurity, the construction of national data centers and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), to as a starting point for joint cooperation and supporting digital transformation projects in Syria.

This visit comes within the framework of Syria’s ongoing efforts to develop its digital infrastructure and strengthen technical cooperation with friendly countries, particularly Turkey, a regional leader in this field.
