London, SANA-British Minister for the Middle East and North Africa ,Hamish Falconer, stressed the need to respect Syria’s sovereignty, noting that Israeli attacks on its territory threaten to destabilize the country.
He said in a post on X: “Israel’s attacks in Damascus risks destabilizing the country. Syria’s sovereignty must be respected”.
Falconer expressed concern about the escalation in Syria, stressing the importance of protecting civilians, adhering to the ceasefire, and holding perpetrators of violence in Sweida accountable.
