Quneitra, March 8 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces detained four children on Sunday while they were herding sheep near Tel al-Ahmar al-Gharbi in the southern countryside of Quneitra, southern Syria.
SANA’s correspondent in Quneitra reported that an Israeli occupation force detained three children from the village of al-Asha and another child from the village of al-Asbah in southern Quneitra countryside, taking them to a nearby military position for unknown reasons.
Last Thursday, Israeli forces also detained two children from al-Asha village while they were grazing sheep.
Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through incursions into southern Syria and attacks against civilians, including raids, arrests, and land bulldozing.
Syria has repeatedly called for the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territory, stressing that all measures taken by Israel in southern Syria are null and void and carry no legal effect under international law, and urging the international community to assume its responsibilities to deter such practices.
