Daraa, SANA- Daraa Governor Anwar al-Zoubi formed an emergency committee Friday, to follow up displaced people’s needs from Sweida province and coordinate the efforts of organizations and local community to provide assistance and shelter.
Daraa Governorate clarified via its Telegram channel that number of displaced families exceeded 1,000, and they left Sweida following attacks on Bedouin tribes by outlaw groups, and arrived in various areas of the province.
The governorate stated that the committee worked to secure temporary shelter for the families and took the necessary measures to communicate with organizations and the local community to coordinate efforts.
