5th convoy of civilians transferred from Sweida via Busra al-Sham crossing

Damascus, SANA-Syrian Civil Defense announced Saturday that the fifth convoy of civilians who wants to leave Sweida Governorate was transferred via Busra al-Sham crossing Friday evening.

The convoy included about 300 people, 20 injured people, and eight bodies, Director of Civil Defense in Daraa, Shadi al-Hassan said in a statement.

He stressed that the convoy was secured until it reached its final destination in Damascus.

“This step comes as part of the ongoing efforts by the Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management and Civil Defense to ensure the safety of civilians and provide first aid and care to the injured” al-Hassan added.
