Firefighting teams contain forest fires in three main hotspots

Hama, SANA-Firefighting teams continue their operations to extinguish the remaining fires in Al-Ghab area in western Hama countryside, where the flames have been confined in three main points, after days of continuous efforts.
Tariq Ramadan, Head of the Civil Defense operations in Hama countryside, said that the active hotspots are currently concentrated in the villages of Nahr al-Bared, Shatha, and Jorin, and are being dealt with intensively to prevent them from spreading to neighboring areas.
He praised the cooperation of the local community in supporting the firefighting operations.
