Ankara, SANA-Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed that lifting sanctions on Syria is a very important step toward achieving stability there.
Anadolu Agency quoted Erdogan as addressing journalists on return flight from Hungary: “Lifting sanctions is a very important step toward achieving the goal of stabilizing Syria,” noting in this regard the constructive Turkish diplomacy that helped achieve these results.
Erdogan added: “We consider the coming days very crucial, and our institutions and their counterparts are monitoring the process of all armed groups joining the Syrian army.”
