Gulf Cooperation Council condemns Israeli repeated aggression on Syrian territory

Riyadh, SANA- Secretary-General of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassim Mohammed al-Badawi, slammed and denounced Israeli forces’ aggression on Koya town, west of Daraa.

“This Israeli aggression comes as a part of its continuous aggressive approach to destabilizing security and stability in the region as a whole”, General Secretariat Council Website quoted al-Badawi as saying in a statement.

Al-Badawi underscored the necessity for international community to assume its responsibilities to stop these repeated Israeli attacks on Syrian territory, and to call on Israel to withdraw from all occupied Syrian territories.

Al-Badawi stressed the importance of respecting Syria’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.
