Doha, SANA- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli occupation forces’ shelling of the town of Kuwaya, west of Daraa, which claimed the lives of several people and the injury of many others, affirming that this dangerous escalation is a flagrant violation of international law.
In a statement posted on its website, the ministry warned that “the ongoing attacks by the Israeli occupation on Syria and Lebanon, and its continued brutal war on Gaza, will ignite a circle of violence in the region,” calling on the international community to pressure the occupation to comply with international legitimacy resolutions.
The Ministry reiterated the State of Qatar’s full support for Syria’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.
