Damascus, Jan 9 (SANA) Minister of Information Hamza al-Mustafa emphasized Friday that Syrian Kurds are an integral part of the Syrian people, describing them as “our kin and partners in the future,” bound by the contract of citizenship and countless historical, cultural, and humanitarian ties.
In remarks published on X platform, the Minister clarified that the recent military and security measures were a response to a deadlock that some forces sought to prolong outside the framework of the state and its institutions, stressing that the military measures aimed at restoring order and protecting public stability.
Al-Mustafa noted that humanitarian efforts have already begun and must be strengthened to ensure the dignified return of displaced families to their homes, provide essential services to those who remained, and reject all calls for migration or forced displacement under any pretext.
He called on all parties to adopt a rational, national discourse that emphasizes unity and commonalities, rejects division, incitement, and disputes, and opposes attempts to exploit sub-identities.
