Damascus, SANA – With the participation of 290 athletes, and under the slogan “Champions of Tomorrow on the Track of Creativity,” the Republic’s Athletics Championship for juniors, both male and female, kicked off on Friday at the Tishreen Sports City track in Damascus.
This tournament is within the framework of preparations for the World Championship, which will be held in Japan next September, and preparations for the Islamic Solidarity Games, which will be held in Saudi Arabia next November.
