Ministry of Sports and Youth signs MoU in Qatar to boost innovation and sports marketing

Damascus, SANA- Ministry of Sports and Youth has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with “Matchworld Group” in Qatar to enhance innovation and sports marketing in Syria

During an official visit to Qatar, Syria’s Minister of Sports and Youth, Mohammad Sameh Hamoud, signed the MoU with Ayman Jada, representing Matchworld Group. The group is recognized as a leading global entity in sports marketing and providing advanced consultancy in sports management and innovation.

According to the Ministry’s official Facebook page, the MoU includes several key points focused on:

•Developing sports management and technological innovation.

•Providing professional consultations to modernize the administrative structure within the Ministry and sports federations.

•Improving institutional work methods in the sports sector.

•Introducing sports performance analysis tools using artificial intelligence to enhance the efficiency of athletes and coaches, and support technical decision-making through accurate and automated data.

The memorandum also outlines support for marketing Syrian championships and sports activities, and organizing international matches and professional training camps to bring Syrian sports back to regional and international prominence.

Minister Hamoud stated in a press release, “This partnership represents a new beginning for Syrian sports on the path of modernization and professionalism. It reflects our will to engage with successful international experiences, serving our youth and athletes both domestically and abroad.”
