Damascus, Aug. 1 (SANA) The Syrian Boxing Federation will host the Junior National Championship for boxers born in 2010 and 2011 from August 15 to 18 in al-Nabk city, Damascus Countryside.
The championship will begin with the official weighing of athletes on Saturday, August 15, followed by competitions according to the schedule set by the supervising committee to determine the winners in various weight categories.
The tournament is part of the federation’s plan to follow up on age-group categories, expand the sport’s base, and identify new talents to represent Syrian boxing in future competitions.
