Damascus, May 12 (SANA) Al-Wahda women’s team won the Syrian Women’s Basketball League title for the 11th time after defeating Al-Thawra 84-69 in the decisive fifth game of the final series on Monday at Al-Fayhaa Sports Hall in Damascus.
Al-Wahda led 47-36 at halftime before securing the championship in the second half.
The teams entered the deciding match tied 2-2 in the series. Al-Wahda won the first and third games, while Al-Thawra claimed the second and fourth to force the final showdown.
