Homs, April 4 (SANA) Al-Wahda claimed a 92–83 win over host al-Karama on Friday at Ghazwan Abu Zaid Hall in Homs within the Syrian Men’s Basketball League.
Al-Wahda controlled the first half with strong three-point shooting and led 45–29, capitalizing on al-Karama’s turnovers. The host responded after the break, cutting the deficit to four points by the end of the third quarter amid strong crowd support.
In the final quarter, Al-Wahda regained composure, using tight defense and fast breaks to pull away and seal a deserved victory.
Al-Jaish will face Homs al-Fidaa today in Damascus in an important matchup for both teams.
