Tishreen, Al-Wahda draw in Latakia in Syria’s round 14 Premier League

Tishreen, Al-Wahda draw in Latakia

Latakia, March 17 (SANA) Tishreen and Al-Wahda drew 0-0 on Monday in Latakia, in the final match of round 14 of the Syrian Premier League, held at Latakia Municipal Stadium.

Round 14 began two days earlier, with Al-Ahli Aleppo securing a 2-1 victory over Jableh. Damascus Al-Ahli lost 1-0 at home to Hottin, while Al-Tali’a defeated Al-Hurriya 1-0.

On Sunday, Al-Fotuwa beat Khan Sheikhoun 5-2, while Al-Fidaa Homs and Al-Jaysh played to a 0-0 draw. Earlier on Monday, Al-Karamah defeated Al-Shu’la 2-0, and Al-Shurta and Ummayya drew 2-2.

At the end of round 14, Al-Ahli Aleppo remained top of the standings with 35 points, followed by Al-Wahda with 30 points. Al-Fidaa Homs holds 27 points, Hottin 25, Al-Tali’a 23, Tishreen 21, Al-Jaysh 20, Al-Karamah 19, and Al-Fotuwa 16.

Damascus Al-Ahli, Al-Hurriya, and Al-Shurta each have 14 points, while Jableh and Khan Sheikhoun have 9 points each. Ummayya and Al-Shu’la have 8 points each.
