Amman, Mar.24 (SANA) Jordan strongly condemned the Iranian attack on Bahrain, which resulted in the killing of a contractor working with the UAE forces and the injury of several Emirati and Bahraini soldiers during a mission in Manama.

In a statement posted on the X platform on Tuesday, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated its firm rejection of what it described as these “heinous attacks,” stressing that they constitute a blatant violation of Bahrain’s sovereignty and a dangerous escalation that jeopardizes regional security and stability.

The ministry reaffirmed Jordan’s unwavering solidarity with Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates in confronting Iranian attacks, and its complete support for all measures taken to safeguard their sovereignty, security, and the safety of their citizens.

Iran has continued its missile and drone attacks targeting several Arab and regional countries, including Bahrain, causing casualties and material damage.

These developments come amid ongoing military escalation in the region since the outbreak of the US-Israeli-Iranian war on the 28th of last month.
