Syria’s under-17 football team will face Lebanon on Sunday in the semifinals of the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) Championship, held in Jordan. The match kicks off at 5 p.m. Damascus time.
The Syrian side is looking to extend its unbeaten run and book a place in the final after finishing top of its group with wins over Palestine and host nation Jordan in the first round.
In the other semifinal, Saudi Arabia will face Jordan at 8 p.m. to determine the second finalist.
