Manama, SANA-Syrian Jiu-Jitsu martial arts team won 4 medals, one gold, a silver and two bronze at the West Asian Championship held in the Bahraini capital of Manama.
Sham Al-Mawardi, won the gold medal in the 52 kg competition, while the silver medal went for player Marwa Al-Shalabi in the over 70 kg competition.
The two bronze medals went to Sameh Ramadan, weighing 94 kg, and Ibrahim Al-Nuseirat, weighing 69 kg.
“Despite the strong competition, our national team players gave a remarkable skillful performance and competed strongly until they climbed the podium,” Hazem Ramadan, Syrian national team coach said.
