London, Mar.31 (SANA) – President Ahmad al-Sharaa and his accompanying delegation met on Tuesday, at Reform Club headquarters in London with representatives of major British companies and British and Syrian businessmen.

During the meeting, discussions focused on ways to enhance economic and investment cooperation between the two countries, as well as to bolster the business environment and investment opportunities in a manner that promotes mutual interests.

President al-Sharaa stated that Syria is engaged in a major challenge to rebuild the country following years of destruction.

He added that Syria represents a significant opportunity for all investors, describing it as “one of the best investment opportunities in the world.”
