President Ahmad al-Sharaa met at his residence in Riyadh on Tuesday with Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif Al Saud, in the presence of Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani.
During the meeting, they discussed relations between Syria and Saudi Arabia, as well as ways to strengthen security and economic cooperation and coordinate joint efforts to serve the interests of both countries.
They also exchanged views on issues of mutual concern at the regional and international levels.
President al-Sharaa is on an official visit to Saudi Arabia to participate in the 9th edition of the Future Investment Initiative Conference and hold talks with senior Saudi officials.
He will also deliver a speech at the conference and hold meetings with leading international investment companies and economic institutions to discuss opportunities for cooperation and regional economic growth.
