Damascus, July 13 (SANA) Italy’s Ambassador to Syria, Stefano Ravagnan, described the inaugural session of Syria’s People’s Assembly as a key step in the country’s ongoing political process.
In a post on X, Ravagnan said he was honored to attend the session, adding that it paves the way for legislation that will help shape Syria’s future.
The People’s Assembly held its first session since liberation on Sunday under the 2025 Constitutional Declaration, which grants it legislative authority during the transitional period.
