Algiers, June 4 (SANA) Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani met on Thursday with Ahmed Attaf, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to discuss ways of strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.
During the meeting, held in Algiers, the two ministers reviewed prospects for enhancing cooperation and developing mechanisms for coordination across various fields of mutual interest.
Al-Shaibani meets Algerian Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies
Foreign Minister, Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani, held a meeting with Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Mourad Adjal.
Talks during the meeting dealt with ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation in the fields of traditional and renewable energy.
Al-Shaibani meets Algerian Minister of Agriculture
Later, the Minister met with Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Yacine Oualid.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of agricultural development, stressing the importance of deepening cooperation between the two countries in the agricultural sector and related industries.
Al-Shaibani meets Minister of Hydrocarbons and mines
Foreign Minister al-Shaibani also met with Minister of State and Minister of Hydrocarbons and mines of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Mohamed Arkab.
During the meeting, the two ministers discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the hydrocarbons and energy sector, including the development of joint projects and the improvement of energy infrastructure.
Earlier Thursday, al-Shaibani met with Murad Hanifi, the Minister of Mines and Mining Industries and Saïd Sayoud, the Minister of Interior, Local Authorities and Transport of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
