Brussels, May 11 (SANA) Syrian Foreign Minister, Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani, met on Monday with Julian Barnes-Dacey, Director of the Middle East and North Africa Program at the European Council on Foreign Relations.
The meeting comes on the sidelines of the high-level political dialogue between Syria and the European Union in Brussels.
Later, Al-Shaibani joined a high-level work lunch banquet with the European Council on Foreign Relations.
Al-Shaibani said earlier that Syria is seeking deeper partnership with the European Union based on mutual interests, reconstruction and long-term regional stability.
Al-Shaibani made the remarks during the opening session of the EU-Syria Partnership Coordination Forum in Brussels,
