Amman, May 5 (SANA) King Abdullah II of Jordan on Tuesday condemned renewed Iranian attacks targeting civilian sites and facilities in the United Arab Emirates during a phone call with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
According to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), the king affirmed Jordan’s full solidarity with the UAE in response to the attacks, expressing support for all measures taken to safeguard its security and sovereignty.
He stressed the importance of maintaining de-escalation in the region and respecting the sovereignty and security of Arab states.
Three people were injured on Monday in an Iranian drone attack targeting the Fujairah oil industry area in the UAE, while an ADNOC-affiliated oil tanker was hit by projectiles north of the city on Sunday.
