Damascus, March 20 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa sent congratulatory cables on Friday on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr to a number of leaders of Arab and Islamic countries, as part of strengthening bilateral relations and exchanging congratulations on religious occasions.
The messages were addressed to leaders of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iraq, Oman, Algeria, Palestine, Yemen, Mauritania, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Malaysia, Tanzania, Bahrain, Kuwait, Indonesia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Somalia, Egypt, Tunisia, and Türkiye, in addition to the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Nigeria, Uzbekistan, and the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States.
The messages underscored Syria’s commitment to strengthening ties with these countries and conveyed hopes for continued cooperation and solidarity across the region.
