Abu Dhabi, March 2 (SANA) – The United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, and the United States on Monday strongly condemned Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting countries in the region.
According to a joint statement cited by Emirates News Agency (WAM), the attacks were described as unjustified strikes against sovereign territories that endangered civilians and caused damage to civilian infrastructure.
The statement stressed that targeting civilians and states not directly involved in hostilities constitutes reckless behavior that undermines regional stability, warning that Iran’s actions represent a serious escalation and a violation of the sovereignty of multiple countries.
It reaffirmed the right of affected states to self-defense and highlighted ongoing regional cooperation in air and missile defense, which helped prevent greater losses.
Iran has continued launching missile and drone attacks against several Arab countries amid escalating tensions following U.S. and Israeli military strikes on Iran.
