Syrian Minister of Defense, Major General Murhaf Abu Qusra, has concluded a three-day official visit to the Russian Federation, accompanied by a senior military delegation.
According to a statement published by the Ministry of Defense on its Telegram channel, the visit included a formal meeting with Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov.
During the talks, the two officials discussed ways to strengthen bilateral military cooperation and exchange expertise in training and other key areas.
The visit comes a couple of weeks after Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa’s trip to Moscow, where he held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on enhancing strategic cooperation across various sectors.
