Firefighting continues in Latakia Mountains, Rough terrain and winds complicate the task

Latakia, SANA – Civil defense teams and firefighting brigades continued efforts to extinguish the fires that have been raging for three days in the forests of the northern Latakia countryside.

They aim to limit the damage to forests and woodlands and prevent their spread to the Furluq Nature Reserve and residential areas.
