Occupied Jerusalem, Sept. 28 (SANA) Four Palestinians were killed and 12 wounded by Israeli fire in Gaza on Sunday, while a Palestinian was wounded during an Israeli raid in the West Bank, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported, citing medical sources.
Two of the Gaza deaths occurred Sunday evening. One Palestinian died of wounds sustained from Israeli fire in central Khan Younis, and another was shot dead in al-Tawam, north of Gaza City, WAFA said.
In the West Bank, a Palestinian was wounded by live fire during an Israeli raid on al-Zababdeh, south of Jenin, and taken to a hospital. Israeli forces also entered Qabatiya, where they fired stun grenades and tear gas toward young Palestinians, according to the report.
Medical sources put the number of Palestinians killed in Gaza since October 7, 2023, at 74,018, with 175,079 wounded. They said 1,417 people had been killed and 4,964 wounded since a ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, and that 834 bodies had been recovered from beneath the rubble.
