Occupied Jerusalem, Sept. 25 (SANA) Two Palestinians were killed in attacks by Israeli occupation forces, one in the Gaza Strip and the other in the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948, while Israeli occupation forces carried out raids and arrests in the West Bank, the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported Friday.
WAFA said, citing local sources, that Israeli occupation aircraft targeted a vehicle near the entrance of Wijdan Camp in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, killing one Palestinian and injuring several others.
A Palestinian man in his 30s was also killed last night by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire in Yafa al-Nasirah in the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948, according to WAFA.
The agency said the death raised to 10 the documented number of Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire in the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948 since the beginning of this year.
Families of victims and local groups have questioned Israeli occupation forces’ accounts of the circumstances surrounding several shootings, while previous investigations into similar cases were closed without charges being filed against Israeli occupation forces, according to WAFA.
In the West Bank, Israeli occupation forces arrested a 17-year-old Palestinian after raiding his family’s home in Beita, south of Nablus, and detained three others in Qabatiya, Mislaya village and Ajja town south of Jenin during raids and searches.
The operations included field questioning, detentions and reports of physical assaults against residents, according to local sources.
Meanwhile, settlers entered the village of Rantis, west of Ramallah, at around 3:00 a.m., set fire to three vehicles and wrote racist slogans on the walls of several homes before residents confronted them and forced them to leave.
On Thursday evening, a Palestinian woman was killed and others, including people with serious injuries, were wounded by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.
