Abu Dhabi, Sept. 3 (SANA) UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and U.S. President Donald Trump discussed developments in the Middle East and ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation during a phone call Thursday.
The two leaders reviewed areas of cooperation and joint action and discussed ways to expand ties in support of their countries’ mutual interests, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.
They also exchanged views on issues of common interest, with a focus on developments in the Middle East and ongoing efforts to address them.
The call follows talks between Sheikh Mohamed and Trump on Aug. 18, when they also discussed developments in the region and related diplomatic efforts.
