Iranian strikes damage Kuwait's power infrastructure
Iranian attacks targeted power generation facilities in Kuwait, causing fires and material damage.

Kuwait City, July 21 (SANA) Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity announced on Tuesday that repeated Iranian attacks over the past four days targeted power generation and water desalination facilities, sparking fires and causing material damage.

According to the ministry, several power stations came under fresh attacks on Monday for the fourth consecutive day, resulting in fires at multiple facilities.

Emergency teams quickly contained and extinguished the blazes.

The ministry said technical teams have begun assessing the damage and are implementing repair and rehabilitation plans for the affected facilities.

It added that several power generation units were taken offline as a precautionary operational measure to safeguard the stability of the country’s electricity and water networks.

On Monday, the Kuwaiti army announced that its forces had intercepted hostile targets within the country’s airspace.

Iran has continued launching missile and drone attacks against several regional and Arab countries, causing casualties and damage to infrastructure.
