Israeli strikes kill four Palestinians in Gaza as raids continue in West Bank

Occupied Jerusalem, July 6 (SANA) Four Palestinians were killed and several others injured in Israeli strikes on Gaza City and Khan Younis on Monday, while Israeli occupation forces carried out raids and arrests across the West Bank, according to Palestinian media.

The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that two Palestinians were killed and others injured when Israeli warplanes struck an apartment in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.

In a separate attack, two Palestinians were killed and 15 others wounded after an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle on al-Rashid Street in the al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis.

In the West Bank, six Palestinians were injured after about 30 Israeli settlers attacked homes and farmland in the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, following the closure of the town’s main entrance.

Israeli occupation forces detained five Palestinians in Nablus after raiding and searching their homes. Two others were arrested in the village of Ein al-Beida in the northern Jordan Valley, while another Palestinian was detained in Qalqilya.

The forces also set up a military checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Imatin, stopping vehicles and checking passengers’ identification cards, disrupting movement into and out of the area.

In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli occupation forces detained two Palestinians from the towns of Biddu and Beit Surik after raiding and searching their homes northwest of the city.

The forces also detained a 15-year-old Palestinian boy after raiding his family’s home in Hebron and established several military checkpoints at the entrances to the city, its towns, villages and refugee camps.

On Sunday, a Palestinian child was killed and two others were injured by Israeli occupation forces during a raid on Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.
