Jerusalem, June 26 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces arrested three Palestinian brothers northeast of occupied Jerusalem on Thursday, while dozens of people suffered from tear gas inhalation after troops stormed a wedding venue, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
Israeli forces raided a wedding hall in the town of Anata, detaining guests for more than two hours before arresting the three men, WAFA reported, citing local sources.
The troops fired tear gas at people gathered at the venue, causing dozens of cases of tear gas inhalation, including among women, children and elderly people, the report said.
Israeli forces also searched several homes in the town, damaging property during the raids, while a young Palestinian woman sustained facial injuries after being assaulted by Israeli soldiers, according to the report.
