Daraa Governor Discusses Border Opening and Trade Revival with Ramtha Chamber of Commerce Delegation

Daraa,SANA-Daraa Governor Anwar Taha al-Zoubi met on Sunday Mukhles al-Daya, head of the Jordanian Ramtha Chamber of Commerce, along with several of its members, to explore ways to enhance commercial activity between the two sides and facilitate trade exchange procedures that serve the interests of merchants and citizens in both Syria and Jordan.
Daraa Governor Discusses Border Opening and Trade Revival with Ramtha Chamber of Commerce Delegation

The meeting addressed the possibility of reopening the old Daraa customs border crossing, which is considered vital for easing the movement of goods and travelers, stimulating local markets, and strengthening economic and social ties between the two countries.

Both sides affirmed the importance of ongoing coordination and communication between the chambers of commerce and official institutions on both sides to overcome obstacles and advance mutual cooperation.
