First Turkish Textile Supply Exhibition concludes, Paving way for future partnerships

Damascus, SANA–The inaugural Turkish Exhibition for Textile Machinery and Supplies, organized by Meridian Company, concluded on Saturday evening  at the Damascus Fairgrounds. The event featured participation from around 40 Turkish companies specializing in textiles and production equipment.

In a statement to a SANA reporter, Öz Yalçin Director of the organizing company, explained that over the course of three days, the exhibition attracted hundreds of specialized visitors interested in apparel and textile manufacturing materials. Attendees explored a range of products on display, including fabrics, threads, and raw materials.

Yelçin emphasized that the exhibition contributes to strengthening industrial and commercial cooperation, paving the way for future partnerships between Syrian and Turkish companies. This initiative falls within the broader framework of joint investment and collaboration in this vital sector, following years of challenges that have impacted Syria’s industrial infrastructure.
