Damascus, SANA – On Thursday, the Governor of Damascus, Mr. Maher Marwan, received a delegation from the Syrian community in Australia, where ways of cultural and humanitarian cooperation and enhancing the communities’ contribution to supporting development within the country were discussed.
During the meeting, held at the governorate building, the community’s initiatives in the areas of education and social support, as well as community investment opportunities in the capital, were also discussed.
The governor emphasized the important role of Syrian communities abroad, praising their commitment to supporting the recovery and reconstruction process, and calling for enhanced communication and cooperation.
