Damascus, SANA-The Presidency of the Republic issued a clarification regarding the event held at the al-Marsoumi guesthouse.

“In response to the recent controversy surrounding the event held at the Al-Marsoumi Guesthouse, and the circulating reports about the presence of government figures in this context, we would like to clarify that Mr. Jamal al-Sharaa does not hold any official position in state institutions, nor does he enjoy any official privileges.”The clarification, published on Presidency’s Telegram channel.
