Aleppo, Dec. 23 (SANA) Aleppo’s deputy governor visited al-Razi Hospital on Monday to check on civilians injured in shelling by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) that targeted residential areas of the city.

Deputy Governor Ali Hannoura toured the hospital alongside the city’s health director, Wajeeh Jomaa, reviewing the condition of the wounded and assessing the readiness of emergency and intensive care units. The Officials stressed the need to continue providing medical care and monitoring patients until their conditions stabilize.

Several residential neighborhoods in Aleppo, northern Syria, were struck late Monday by mortar fire, rockets, and heavy weapons by SDF. The attacks killed two civilians and wounded 15 others. Internal security forces evacuated residents from affected areas and took measures to ensure civilian safety.

Later, the Media and Communication Department at the Ministry of Defense said that the General Staff of the Syrian Arab Army issued an order to halt retaliation to SDF fire sources in Aleppo after neutralizing several of them, narrowing the scope of clashes away from civilians.
